Elland Road is set for a top of table clash as this Saturday afternoon sees league leaders Leeds United host second placed Swansea City.
Both Leeds and Swansea go into the game still unbeaten in the Championship so far this season, and they are both also equal on points after picking up four wins and a draw from their first five league games to pick up a total of 13 points. Leeds however are top of the table on goal difference.
Leeds however were handed their first defeat of the season by Stoke City on Tuesday night, losing 5-4 on penalties in the second round of the Carabao Cup at Elland Road. Head coach Marcelo Bielsa made many changes to his Leeds side however, with the majority of the first team being rested.
Swansea City were also in Carabao Cup action in midweek, and they progressed the the third round after beating League 2 side Cambridge United 6-0 at home. Manager Steve Cooper did also made many changes to his team on Wednesday night though, resting some key players.
Team news
Whites fans were given a big boost this week as Bielsa revealed in his press-conference that everyone apart from defender Luke Ayling and forward Tyler Roberts are fit and available for selection for this weekends big game against Swansea. Ayling and Roberts have been out all season and are still not ready to play despite returning to training this week.
Previous meetings
Leeds edged it when the two sides met in February last season. First half goals from Pontus Jansson and Jack Harrison helped Leeds secure a 2-1 win over Swansea. Bielsa's side will no doubt be happy with a repeat of that scoreline.
