Leeds United have announced that Adidas will become the club's new official kit partner from the 2020/21 season.
In a record-breaking deal for the club, Adidas will produce apparel and both playing and training kit for all Leeds United teams over the next five years. Leeds United joins the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus in partnering with the German sportswear manufacturer.
It is the first time Leeds United have changed their shirt suppliers since 2015 when Italian company Kappa signed a five-year deal with the club. It is also the first time in Leeds United's 100-year history that they will wear the famous three stripes of Adidas.
Adidas are notorious for making high-quality products, with the company being the largest sportswear manufacturer in Europe, and the second-largest in the world, after American company Nike. Adidas, however, is a global leader in football with being the official suppliers to tournaments across the world including the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA Champions League.
The club says that merchandise will not only be available to purchase on the club's official online store and in the four official club shops, but also on the Adidas website and selected Adidas stores.
A date for the official kit launch will be announced at a later date.
